Whether you have a BEV, HEV or PHEV our technicians are qualified to work on EVs and have been trained by the vehicle manufacturer. If an EV is involved in an accident, it is crucial that it is first quarantined and then checked for safety by a qualified EV technician who will inspect the vehicle to see if any of the EV system has been damaged. If they find any component of the EV system has been damaged, then the vehicle must be shut down with the stored battery electricity discharged safely before anybody else can work on the vehicle. The vehicle will then be assessed by a VDA who has had the appropriate EV training.
